5.0 star rating 3/30/2019 We had a big dinner party and Cedar Grill took such great care of us. They were helpful with the menu selections, set up, during the event, and after. They were attentive, flexible and welcoming. We’re grateful for their hospitality and highly recommend them for your catering & venue planning.

This place has good food. I stop here about once a month after work to get their big order of meat and rice. Soup included. Amazing

I’ve been coming here for years! Everything is delicious on the menu. Chicken Shawarma, Beef Shawarma, Chicken Kabob, Beef Kabob, Greek Salad, Greek Salad w/Chicken, and so on ……..! Good Customer service. A real good mine.

Excellent service, great food, large portions, very affordable, clean. We ordered the chicken gyro (huge), chicken pita (delicious), small tabouli salad (big enough to split) and the lentil soup. Everything was fresh. Fries were great too!

WOW! This place is a gem in Downers Grove! I tried the Chicken Shawarma plate with a side of lentil soup. The hours are awesome and the location isn’t too bad either. Decent size building and parking lot – which is ALWAYS a plus in my book! Now, the good part: the food! Simply put, it was amazing! I have only one other place in Chicago that can compete with the flavoring I had near Milwaukee and Ashland (on the north side), but I have to say that for the price, this may beat my favorite place for Chicken Shawarma. The lunch portion is enough as well to satisfy your hunger. I will be back here again when I’m in Downers Grove.

Wowsers! This place is Hoppin! Met one of my oldest friends for lunch and the line never stopped moving. However, it was super Duper fast which was rather impressive. The service was efficient and helpful when I asked questions about what was in that kebab since I was bringing leftovers home for my nephew. The lentil soup is remarkable – full of flavor, perfect consistency and perfect temperature. The chicken kebab plate was very large and the garlic sauce served with it was yummy. My friend ordered a gyro and that looked delicious as well. This place is not convenient to my house, but a great meeting point between the western suburbs and the city. I, along with the hundreds of other people that went there for lunch would recommend it for future meals!

I’m in love with this combo plate. It’s too good, so much flavor and plenty get nice and full, or save for some leftovers. Friendly vibes there too.

I’ve been coming to Cedar Grill for years now. Everything I’ve tried has been solid, but the Chicken Shawarma is beyond excellent and is my go to here. It’s worth the trip for just the Chicken Shawarma wrap alone. I stop in every time I’m in the area (which is pretty far from where I live/work) and make several detours/year just to hit Cedar Grill!

I would have never expected a place called Cedar Grill to have the best Lebanese/middle eastern food in the area, but I believe it does. This is the best, most consistent place you will find in the area (trust me, I’ve tried them all). I love a good falafel sandwich, and Cedar Grill’s falafels are the best, cooked perfectly with great flavor. They use a wrap instead of a traditional pita, but you can’t beat the taste. The baklava is excellent!
